ENGINE ON

THE BLOCKS

07/07/2007

Saturday,

July 7th, 2007 : a dull morning after a very bad week.

Still some 80 visitors turned up to enjoy the spectacle of the day. All volunteers turned up to help a hand, hence the number of red overalls in the pictures.

We hoped to see the Fokker Dr.I or the Nieuport take to the air, but the latter had some problems with its papers and for the first there was still to much wind. As for the engines, they ran smoothly...... although one or two lost some oil in the process.

Photo's : Paul Soons & Dirk Buytaert
