STAMPE & VERTONGEN Museum Antwerp Airport Box 3 2100 Deurne   www.stampe.be   MG Club on visit 13/04/2008 Sunday April 13th 2008 saw the visit of the Antwerp MG owners club. This society is now 30 years young. They organised a rally for which they expected 60 MG cars, but in the end 93 turned up. They came from Belgium, Great Britain, France, The Netherlands and Germany. In total 185 people participated. The visit at the Stampe & Vertongen museum was the final happening in their festivities, for which the car from Knighton made a trip of over 660km (one-way). Each participant received a picture taken in front of our Spitfire. Thanks to the enthusiastic co-operation of airport management and security staff and our own volunteers all was handled well and smoothly. Even though airport security measures have changed quite drastically and are now more strict than ever before. Photo's : Paul Soons
