was bought for the personal use of King Boudewijn back in
1961 and remained in service until 1973.

The Rijkswacht
(Gendarmerie) decided in the early seventies to buy the
larger Puma helicopters to overcome problems with the
limitations that the Alouettes had. They were mainly used to
transport injured people after accidents and fire
fighting.
